Heathlands CofE VC Primary School, located in the heart of West Bergholt, is seeking a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. We are a welcoming Church of England school with 409 wonderful pupils, set in a thriving community environment.
About the Role:
As our HLTA, you will:
Cover whole classes across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 for PPA release and staff absence
Deliver engaging lessons and support teachers with planning, assessment, and reporting
Work inclusively with children with a range of needs, ensuring all pupils can succeed
Model and promote our school values: Trust, Respect, Enjoyment, Courage, Kindness
Support and uphold our Christian ethos
What We're Looking For:
Ideally HLTA Level 4 qualified, with experience across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
Strong phonics knowledge and confidence delivering phonics sessions
Inclusive, adaptable, and committed to safeguarding and child protection
