Part Time/ Full Time (4/5 days per week)
Pay will be dependent upon qualifications and experience - either MS/UPR + YLR2a OR Leadership Spine Sc 1-4
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an inspiring, dedicated and ambitious professional to join our staff and play an important role in the future of our school and our community.
Our school community is looking for a SENDCo who:
• Has the accredited award for SEND Co-ordination, (or is currently completing it/ is committed to achieving it)
• Has experience of coordinating and delivering high quality provision for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and/or complex behaviour across Early Years, KS1 and KS2
• Can promote a culture of inclusion throughout the school community.
• Can nurture positive relationships, demonstrating a practical, hands-on approach to supporting teaching
• Will play a leading role in developing the school's SEND provision, leading a dedicated team of LSAs, and working closely with external professionals.
• Has strong knowledge of legislation in Special Educational Needs.
• Has excellent interpersonal skills and is open to working closely in partnership with parents.
