Permanent | Term Time Only + Non-Pupil Days
17.5 Hours per Week (Monday to Friday, 11:30am to 3:00pm)
Actual Starting Salary: £10,212.09 per annum

We are seeking an enthusiastic, friendly and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our catering team from September.

As a specialist SEND school, food and mealtimes play an important part in our school day. We provide a variety of meals to meet the individual needs of our pupils, and we are looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a busy team and takes pride in providing a high-quality service to our school community.

The successful candidate will assist with all aspects of food preparation, serving meals and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the kitchen. Duties will include preparing and serving food and drinks, cleaning kitchen equipment and work areas, supporting colleagues during busy service periods and ensuring compliance with food hygiene and health and safety requirements.

Has good organisational skills and can manage their time effectively.
Takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Is willing to undertake training and develop their skills.
