Catering Assistant
Salary Point 5
8.75 hours per week - 11.15am to 1.00pm, plus fuel.
Term time only (38 weeks).
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic individual to join our friendly team as a Catering Assistant.
Our school dinners are cooked at another local school - St. Mary's, Woodham Ferrers. Your main responsibilities will be to take the food transport boxes from Cold Norton school to St Mary's, collect the lunches from there, transport them back to Cold Norton Primary School (10 minute drive), serve our pupils, and then clear the lunch hall and servery.
Our ideal candidate will be positive, caring and be able to use their initiative. They will also be able to lift and move equipment; hold a full, clean driving license; and will use their own car.
We will provide training, including Food Hygiene standards and Allergy Awareness.
