The role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and talented practitioner to join our history department and enthuse the next generation of historians.
The successful candidate will be an outstanding practitioner or if new to the profession, will have the potential to be so, by being passionate and driven to support the students on their journey through the curriculum.
He/she will make a genuine commitment and input positive contributions within the history department, pushing to achieve great results and increase engagement from the pupils. He/she will create stimulating and enriching lesson plans throughout all key stages inspiring the students in their study and their mastery of mathematics.

Shenfield High School is a standalone 11-18 Academy with a comprehensive ethos and commitment to high academic standards supported by a significant investment in pastoral care and wellbeing.
The school is conveniently located close to Shenfield mainline station on the line into London Liverpool Street and home to the eastern terminus of the new cross rail Elizabeth Line. The school's location attracts outer fringe London allowance.
