We are seeking to appoint an inspirational, enthusiastic and committed Teacher of History to join a high-performing and supportive Humanities team. Applications are welcome from both experienced teachers and current trainees, able to teach throughout the age and ability range. The school provides an excellent induction for ECTs and would be able to support you through your first two years under the Early Career Framework. A commitment to raising standards and forming positive relationships with young people is essential.

History is an extremely popular subject at the school, chosen as a GCSE option by over 50% of students in a typical year. This is attributable to the high standards of teaching and the consistently strong outcomes in this subject, with 66% of students achieving a Grade 5+ in 2025, and 29% achieving Grades 7-9.
