These values shape all aspects of the work we do: the curriculum we teach, our behaviour policy, our teaching framework, our enrichment programme, our approach to teacher wellbeing, our interactions with parents and students - everything we do.

King Harold Academy is a rapidly-developing, growing secondary school. It is an exciting time to come and work with us, to be part of a team who are building a school that transforms the life chances of young people in the community, with ambitions to become a beacon of excellence in the educational sector.

We are looking for a proactive and highly motivated individual to be responsible for the administration of external and internal examinations in accordance with the Joint Council for Qualifications regulations.

As Exams, Assessment, Admin and Data Officer, you must have an in-depth knowledge of Excel and be able to demonstrate meticulous attention to detail. Previous experience with the school's Management Information Systems (Arbor) would benefit you, but training will be provided. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a team of invigilators as well as work alongside other office staff. You must be able to work well under pressure and will be able to use your own initiative.

You will work closely with the Deputy Headteacher and Business Manager who between them hold overall responsibility for examinations, assessment, admin and data.

The post is an opportunity to make your mark in a rapidly-improving school, and take your career to the next level. You will join an exceptionally talented staff team, and learn a huge amount about educational leadership and school improvement.

For exams and assessments, you will be coordinating the end-to-end planning and delivery of public GCSE's, internal mock exam cycles and KS3 CAFs/GL assessments.

Admin tasks will range to help as and when you are able to our main office who you will work closely with.

Data operations will manage and support key school administrative systems, including Arbor (MIS), 4Matrix, Pupil Progress to ensure accurate data tracking and reporting (as determined by DHT Data, Assessment and Operations).

If you're interested in playing a leading role in building a school community that provides a transformative education for its students, then King Harold Academy is an exciting opportunity for you.

The successful candidate will have/be:

● Kind, Hard-Working and Ambitious

● Determined to raise educational standards

● The ability to lead change, develop, motivate, challenge, support and inspire colleagues and students alike;

● An interest in serving the community and addressing educational disadvantage.

● The highest aspirations and expectations for all students, yourself and our school;

● A highly skilled communicator who can lead and influence a range of stakeholders.

● Aspiring to progress their career.
