About the role:
Are you passionate about helping young people achieve success in Maths?
We are seeking a committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant to deliver targeted intervention and in-class support for Year 11 students at risk of not achieving a grade 5 or above in their GCSE Maths.
In this role, you will:
Deliver structured 1:1 and small group Maths intervention sessions.
· Support students within lessons, helping them close gaps in knowledge and boost confidence.
· Work closely with teachers to implement strategies that accelerate progress.
· Mentor students to develop motivation, resilience, and exam preparation skills.
We are looking for someone with:
· Strong subject knowledge in Maths up to GCSE level.
· Experience working with secondary students in small group/1:1 settings.
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a measurable difference to outcomes in Maths for our Year 11 learners.
