St. Andrew's CofE Primary School (All Saints Academy Trust) are looking for a HLTA, LSA or NN to join our friendly, nurturing and highly skilled staff team. We are seeking someone to committed to making an impact on young children's lives. We are able to be flexible as to the year groups/group you are linked to and your area of expertise and personal preference can influence the Key Stage you are assigned to; it is important to us that staff are happy in their work. In addition to classroom based support, you will be required to run small group interventions and some hours will be supporting individual children's needs. Initially this will be with our younger KS2 children (Y3/4). We are hoping to work with someone with experience or able to providing training for someone who thinks this is the role for them but they have never had the opportunity in the past, if this is the case relevant experience which shows your aptitude to this work will be necessary. We are committed to having additional support staff outside our SEN funded support and have seen the difference this makes for our pupils and community as a whole.
The role will be varied and we know that our current staff appreciate this variety. It will include supporting class based learning, supporting pupils with additional needs and delivering programmes with individuals and groups, these interventions will be carefully planned by teaching staff to support your delivery. The aim of these groups is to fill identified gaps and increase rates of progress for any pupils needing this. In addition, if of interest, there is also the opportunity to run a lunchtime nurture group for the right candidate.

The successful applicant will ideally have:
· A passion for supporting children's learning and ability to thrive during their primary school journey.
· The ability to be patient and flexible and able to use their initiative in a range of situations, motivating children to give their best.
· Some relevant and recent experience in primary education, this can be within a special or mainstream school setting.
· A keenness to make a positive difference in children's lives and a commitment to relationship led approaches.
· The ability to work as part of a team and strong written and verbal communication skills.
