Administration Assistant
Hours: 37 (Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 4:30pm and Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm)
Working weeks: 39 weeks (term time plus 5 inset days)
Scale 4 points 7-8
Salary: £25584 -£25992 pa FTE (Actual Salary: £21933 - £22582 pa dependent upon experience)
We are looking to appoint a friendly, highly organised and efficient Administrative Assistant to join our busy school office.
The successful applicant's duties will be varied and include welcoming and assisting visitors, administering first aid to pupils, answering queries and corresponding with parents / carers. Candidates will have a compassionate and professional attitude towards children, an excellent telephone manner, be able to work as part of a team and understand the importance of confidentiality.
Applicants must have effective typing and IT skills, together with the ability to manage deadlines and remain calm in difficult situations. Knowledge of RM Integris and experience of working in a school environment is desirable. A First Aid qualification would be helpful but training will be provided.
