Site Manager Contract type: up to 30 hours per week across Monday - Thursday (Permanent)
Weeks: 52.14 weeks (Holiday entitlement 5 weeks of contracted hours plus bank holidays, holidays should be taken during the school closure periods)
To open and close the school site on Monday - Wednesday, other keyholders open and close on Thursday/Friday. Hours may be negotiated subject to specific requirements to open and close and maintain site security.
Wentworth Primary School is a well-equipped and well maintained large two form entry school. Our site includes fourteen classrooms across two main buildings, a newly added external classroom, two spacious halls, an ICT Suite, Swimming pool, and an extensive playing field. We also have a privately run Pre-School and Nursery on our grounds.
We are seeking to appoint a Site Manager to join the school, who will take pride in looking after our school, ensuring we provide a safe, clean and engaging learning environment for the children in our care.
The ideal candidate will be friendly, hardworking, reliable, self-motivated and set themselves high expectations to ensure the operation of the school's building, grounds and equipment are maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
· Responsible for Site Maintenance and Security.
· Responsible for premises-related Health and Safety.
· Conduct compliance checks and risk assessments.
· Supervise the cleaning team.
· Provide first line repairs and maintenance.
· Manage cleaning and maintenance supplies.
· Liaise with contractors and oversee on-site works.
Ideal Candidate:

· Is skilled in general maintenance and repairs.
· Has knowledge of Health & Safety policies and procedures.
· Is IT literate with excellent communication skills.
· Pro-active and organised.
· Hardworking and reliable.

• Replacing the roof and windows of the main Viking building
• Converting the former School House into a Nursery
• Adding an additional external classroom due to a larger year group
• Refurbishing the swimming pool and plant room
• Replacing all heating pipework in the Viking building
• Creating a Sensory Room and additional breakout spaces
The successful applicant will be supported by senior staff in keeping our school buildings and grounds safe, tidy, complaint and fit for providing a high-quality education for our children.
