Description
Debden Pre-School is situated in the heart of Debden village. It is staffed by a team of highly qualified practitioners. The children experience a variety of activities, all of which are planned in accordance with their needs and interests. When anyone comes into our setting they will be greeted by a friendly, welcoming, family atmosphere. There are a variety of activities from which children can choose; ranging from craft and painting to cooking and imaginative play. Our pre-school is an ECaT centre of excellence, which means our children will be carefully nurtured as they develop valuable communication skills.
The setting is in the Memorial Hall and benefits from a private and secure pre-school play area; the Debden play park and the village meadow all adjacent to the hall. We take every opportunity to use this fabulous space for playing, learning and exploring. We have strong links with the Debden C of E Primary School which is situated just opposite.
We admit children who are aged between 2½ years and 5 years old, with sessions running every morning (except Thursdays) from 9am to 12pm. We also offer a lunch club from 12pm to 12.45pm, as well as Rising Fives sessions on a Tuesday afternoon until 2.45pm.
