An exciting opportunity has arisen at Newlands Spring Primary and Nursery School for a passionate Early Years Phase Lead.


Inspected in October 2023, Ofsted said:
The school is a warm and welcoming environment. Pupils are happy and safe. They are particularly well cared for. Pupils can share any worries with staff, who they know will help them. They are confident and kind to one another.
Our EY Phase Lead will teach one of our two Reception classes and lead the EYFS team including our highly successful nursery.


We are looking for someone who:

  • Can motivate and engage our Early Years children through creative, exciting and engaging planning and teaching
  • Can inspire and support the teaching team as part of our journey to attaining excellence
  • Constantly strives to improve their practice by setting themselves and others high standards relating to planning, teaching and assessment
  • Creates and maintains a purposeful and enabling learning environment in which our children can be curious and thrive
  • Finds and develops the potential in all children
  • Will contribute and be an active and member of our Senior Leadership Team
