An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join the Oaklea Montessori nursery team at New Town. This is initially to work 25 -30 hrs a week, all-year-round. The successful candidate will have a Level 3 qualification in childcare. It is preferable that you also have a sound knowledge of the Montessori curriculum, or you commit to undertaking this training.

Information about the School
Oaklea New Town nursery opened in 2014, which is one of two Oaklea Montessori nursery settings in Colchester. We are open for all families living or working in Colchester or surrounding rural areas.
We are open from 8:00am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, 50 weeks a year, providing childcare from birth to five years old.
There is a small team of qualified and experienced staff. All team members are DBS checked, receive training in paediatric first aid and regularly attend training sessions to expand and develop their knowledge in childcare.
At both Oaklea New Town and Oaklea St John's settings we work closely with the Essex Child and Family Wellbeing Service to support families.
We have developed links with the community. Our New Town location is close to nature with Bourne woods and the nature garden. We are also near Colchester town centre, which offers extensive opportunities for learning opportunities, memory making and adventures!
