Full time EYFS Class Teacher and EYFS Lead
Salary : MPS/UPS TLR2
Required 1st September 2024


An opportunity has arisen for a full-time permanent teaching and leadership position at Oakfield
Primary School. We are seeking to appoint a committed and creative classroom teacher who is
passionate about learning, to teach a reception class and lead EYFS. You will have the ability to
inspire, engage and motivate our pupils to do their very best. Our pupils are looking for an
enthusiastic teacher with good pedagogical knowledge and subject knowledge who has high
expectations and makes learning fun. You will have an excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework
and a desire to drive improvement. Previous leadership experience is desirable but not essential.


Oakfield Primary School is a two-form entry school. We are a caring school with wonderful children
who love to learn. Our staff members are dedicated, friendly and supportive of each other. We can

behaved and eager to learn.

The successful candidate will:
• Have QTS and experience with primary aged children, ideally across the Primary age range
and EYFS
• Have a passion and enthusiasm for teaching, putting children at the forefront of lessons
• Promote consistently high expectations of themselves and all pupils and support all pupils to
make good progress
• Promote and support inclusion for all pupils including those with SEN, EAL or with a physical
disability
• Be a keen team player, working well with staff and the school leadership team to put wholeschool strategies in place to support the learning of all pupils
