Post Title: Nursery Practitioner/LSA
Contractual Status: Permanent
Responsible to: Headteacher/ Deputy Headteacher
Hours: 30 hours per week X 38 weeks per year
Salary: Scale Point 3
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring nursery practitioner/learning support assistant to join our friendly, welcoming team and support our pupils in the classroom and outdoor environment. We require applicants to have a minimum NVQ level 2 (or equivalent) and good literacy and numeracy skills.
Our ideal candidate will be a reliable, flexible and enthusiastic person who genuinely enjoys interacting with children. Suitable applicants will need to demonstrate patience and show a commitment to supporting children with individual academic, welfare and medical needs. An ability to be a positive member of a team is essential and a sense of humour would be a bonus. We are looking for an addition to our wonderful team who has the energy and enthusiasm to make a difference!
An understanding of the EYFS curriculum and Statutory Framework/previous experience of working in a similar role is desirable but not essential as training can be provided. We are committed to continuous professional development and the relevant training will be provided for the successful applicant.
