Administration Assistant
15 hours per week, 9am - 12pm daily (some flexibility required)
£5887.29 PA (FTE £16,495 + £597 outer fringe) £8.86 per hour
Term time plus 5 non-pupil days
This is an exciting opportunity to join the central team of the HEARTS Academy Trust. The team supports the business function of the Trust and its six schools. We are seeking an adaptable person to support the busy team with the general reception, admin and business functions. Duties will include:
- Meeting and greeting visitors, providing refreshments, keeping the offices tidy (along with the team)
- Answering the telephone and dealing with general enquiries, opening post
- Taking minutes of meetings and distributing them
- Monitoring and maintaining the school and Trust websites, along with supporting the schools with updating the sites (training will be given)
- Managing specific software for emails, health and safety, pupil data, Governance (training will be given)
- Supporting the team with recruitment
- Providing clerical support to the team, including the CEO and Executive Headteachers, with photocopying, filing, shredding, typing up notes etc
- Inputting and extracting data from specialist software
This opportunity will suit someone that has an interest in education and shares the Trust's passion for providing amazing educational opportunties for the children in our care. Whilst the base hours are 9am - 12pm, we will require some flexibility for the successful candidate to work additional or alternative hours to suit the business needs of the Trust.

HEARTS is a small innovative Academy Trust of six primary schools and an alternative provision for pupils with SEMH challenges. All provisions are based in the south of Essex.
