We have various vacancies available within our team. We are looking for Out of School Club Practioners that can work a variation of hours which can be discussed in interview. These include 7am to 9am, 3pm to 6.15pm during term time. We also run out of school club camps which run from 7am to 6pm in the school holidays. There are also opportunities for Bank Staff which we call upon when we need throughout the year.

Applicants must have relevant Level 3 Early Years/Playwork or equivalent

qualifications. This post is subject to a DBS enhanced Check.

Located within the grounds of Noak Bridge Primary School - Noak Bridge Pre-school has its own secure, designated building with child friendly indoor and outdoor play areas. The Pre-school has been a part of the community for 32 years and has been in the grounds of the Primary school for 11 years.

We are fully registered and governed by Ofsted and offer a well established setting. Our fully qualified staff maintains a high professional standard at all times and with a caring attitude allowing the children and their families to feel at home. We received an overall 'Good' in our last Ofsted Inspection.

The setting provides Breakfast Club, Pre-School Morning and Afternoon Sessions, Afterschool Club and Holiday Clubs. We are open from 7am to 6pm 49 weeks of the year. At Noak Bridge Pre-school, the child is at the heart of all we do. We believe that every child's voice matters as well as that of their families. The children here learn through play and exploration, we believe a fun and exciting environment is key to their future success.

As well as play, children are involved in all sorts of stimulating activities planned by their key person, this supports the development of children's life skills, such as speaking, making friends and knowing and understanding their world, as well as key skills such as maths and literacy.

We understand that children learn best by doing and experiencing, so we provide opportunities for children to participate in trips within our local community, learning about maps, flowers and the nature around us. We support and prepare our children through important transitions, such as starting school. Our main aim at Noak Bridge Pre-school is to follow a child led approach and give children the opportunity to play and explore within a safe and caring environment with the support of our experienced practitioners.

Our setting has a duty under the law to help safeguard children against suspected or actual 'significant harm'. Our employment practices ensure children against the likelihood of abuse in our setting and we have a procedure for managing complaints or allegations against a member of staff.
