We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team and provide classroom and SEND support to our pupils.
This rewarding role involves working closely with class teachers and the wider inclusion team to support children in accessing learning, developing positive relationships, and achieving their full potential both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils within the classroom to remain regulated, engaged, and ready to learn.
- Provide learning support to individuals and small groups under the direction of the class teacher.
- Help pupils overcome barriers to learning and access the curriculum successfully.
- Support children with SEND to achieve their individual targets and make progress.
- Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and strong relationships through a nurturing approach.
- Assist with classroom organisation, preparation of resources, and general LSA duties.
- Encourage pupils' independence, confidence, and resilience.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support pupil outcomes.
- Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Has experience of working with primary-aged children, ideally within a school or SEND setting.
- Is patient, nurturing, and committed to helping every child succeed.
- Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Can build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and families.
- Understands the importance of emotional regulation and supporting children's wellbeing.
- Is flexible, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Shares our commitment to inclusion and high expectations for all pupils.

HOURS: MONDAY-FRIDAY 8.30am-3.30pm

Location Accessibility: Please note that our location is not easily accessible by public transport. For this reason, a full driving license and access to a car are essential.
