Wells Park School is seeking to appoint a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Cleaner / Housekeeper to join our friendly team.
Wells Park is a residential special school set in peaceful and spacious grounds in Chigwell. We are proud to provide a warm, nurturing and supportive environment for our children and young people, and our site team play an important part in helping us maintain high standards across the school.
The successful candidate will work as part of a friendly and supportive team, helping to ensure that our school environment remains clean, safe, welcoming and well cared for. Duties are likely to include cleaning classrooms, shared areas, offices, bathrooms and residential spaces, as well as supporting general housekeeping tasks as required.
We are looking for someone who:
- takes pride in their work
- is dependable and well organised
- can work well as part of a team
- understands the importance of cleanliness, presentation and hygiene in a school setting
- is willing to contribute positively to the life of the school

This role would suit someone with experience in cleaning or housekeeping, although the right attitude, reliability and willingness to work hard are just as important.

Wells Park is an Ofsted rated outstanding Residential Special Educational Needs School. We care for children aged between 5 and 11 years who have a range of complex needs associated with SEMH.
