At SEAX, we work to make sure that every young person has an excellent education, which gives them every chance for the brightest of futures. We believe learning is more than simply expanding knowledge; for our young people it is about developing skills and opportunities to be ready for a great future contributing to their communities. It starts with the relationships we build together in our educational communities and has led to our values, which are: 'Integrity, Collaboration, Excellence'.

Key to our success is the commitment of our highly valued body of staff. They are the people who have made our schools the joyful, kind beacons of hard work and learning they are today. You will find some of their testimonies in the Candidate Information Pack uploaded to this page and further information on our websites, but if you would like to visit or speak to us to find out more, we would welcome your phone call or email.

As a result of the fact that we are now growing as a Trust, we have a new, exciting opportunity to appoint a Finance Business Partner to assist the work of the Director of Finance -a brand new position within SEAX Trust! The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Trust's Central Team, but will also travel and work cross-Trust to support our schools. The role will also support Trustees and the CEO in the provision of an exceptional Business Function. This is an exciting time for SEAX, as our brand new provision, The Hawthorns School, opens its residential provision in Chelmsford and the Trust looks forward to welcoming more schools in this phase of growth.

As you discover more about us, if you feel you support our values and think you might be someone special who could make a difference for our young people at SEAX, we most certainly want to hear from you.

Information about the School

Established in 2015, the SEAX Trust is a growing partnership of five Special School Academies within the community of Essex. We are a Trust which:

• puts no limits on what we believe young people can achieve - creating opportunities and meeting individual needs so that our young people can live rich and fulfilled lives;

• values our staff and is committed to providing an environment which creates opportunities for professional growth and development;

• has the courage and drive to challenge and champion change to enable equal opportunity and equity for all;

• influences, respects, listens and acts and which, in turn, is known as a voice to listen to, act upon and respect.

We consider the main asset towards achieving our vision is our body of highly-valued staff and, in recognition, we implement a wide range of strategic and person-centered reward practices across all of our Academies and within the Trust's Executive Team itself.

Working in special education is extremely rewarding, supportive and motivational and most roles require little or no prior experience. If you haven't considered a role in a special school before now, then working within SEAX Trust will not only enhance your professional development, but also your self-confidence and belief that what you are doing each day truly is making a difference to our young people's lives.

SEAX Trust is a Disability Confident Employer.

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
