About the role:
We are looking for a well-qualified, passionate,specialist music teacher, who values continuing professional development, to join our thriving Performing Arts and P.E. Faculty. This is a superb opportunity to be part of a team who are committed todeveloping the musical skills of all students by providing them with a broad range of experiencesandmaking an important contribution to theirpersonal development.The roleis suitable for either an Early Career Entry Teacher or anexperienced practitioner.
Music is a highly valued part of our provision with G.C.S.E. and A level being wellestablishedwithin the KS4 and KS5 curriculums.Music is taught inthree music rooms, two of which are equipped with keyboards, computers installed with compositional software and aSmartscreen.Thereare also two practice rooms.A wide range ofextra-curricularactivities take place, including: LesEstrallasGirls'Choir, GuitarGroup and Samba,Rockand Concert bands.The successful candidate would be expected tocontribute to these activitiesas well as teaching music up to and including G.C.S.E. A level teaching may also be available.
