We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and proactive Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our dedicated SEND team. This role involves working closely with a child who has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) to support their transition into a mainstream school setting.
You will play a key role in helping to deliver the individualised provision outlined in the child's EHCP, supporting their social, emotional, and academic development within a nurturing and inclusive environment.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be working under the direction of the SENDCo providing 1:1 support. Your role will involve working alongside our wider teaching team to create a nurturing and structured environment.
We are looking for an individual who is eager to learn, implement innovative strategies and demonstrate patience and empathy in their practice. Experience in supporting vulnerable pupils partiularly those with ASD or high needs will be highly valued. A prior knowledge of communication methods such as PECs or Makaton would also be desirable.

Working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 9.10am - 12:10pm
Actual salary starts at £9,176 per annum
This role is initially offered on a fixed-term contract on a part-time basis however there is scope that working hours could increase in the future.
