Midday/Serving Assistant
Part-time - 7.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri 11.30-13.00)
Term Time Only
Commencing November 2025
LGS Scale 2 Points 3-4 dependent on experience
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic individual to join our friendly lunchtime catering service team. The ideal candidate will have a 'can do' attitude and be prepared to help the lunchtime team in a willing and positive manner.
Our school meals are prepared and cooked by the junior school. Your role will be to collect the meals from the junior school, deliver and then serve the children in the infant school in line with the serving requirements. You will also be involved in clearing the school hall, ensuring that the equipment is returned to the Junior school ready for the next day. Additionally, you will need to support the return of trays, cutlery and food waste to the junior school. You will have an awareness of food hygiene standards; training will be provided.
