Canvey Island Infant School and Nursery is a two-form entry infant school, with a 30 place Nursery. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated and highly motivated teacher to join our friendly and committed team.
The successful candidate will:
- have an excellent understanding of the EYFS framework as well as Key Stage One expectations
- be an excellent classroom teacher who has high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
- be able to work effectively as a team member and have exceptional communication skills
- be committed to raising standards
- be proactive, organised and able to prioritise workload
- provide a creative, engaging learning experience for young children
- have a clear understanding of how young children learn and what they need to enable them to thrive
