Wishes to appoint an
Apprentice IT Technician
18 month fixed term contract
Based at the following Trust schools:
St Clere's School, Butts Lane, Stanford -Le-Hope, Essex, SS17 0NW
Arthur Bugler Primary School, St James' Avenue East, Stanford-Le-Hope, Essex, SS17 7BQ
Stanford-Le-Hope Primary School, Copeland Road, Stanford-Le-Hope, Essex, SS17 0DF
Salary: Band A Point 1
(£22,360.00 per annum)
37 hours per week
Monday - Thursday 8:00am to 4:00pm,
Friday 8:00am to 3:30pm (with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break)
Working pattern flexibility may be negotiated with the successful candidate
52.14 weeks per year
Start Date: May 2024
We require a full time Apprentice to assist in the maintenance and support of the Multi Academy Trust's Network, IT equipment and its users. You will be required to work across three of our Trust schools based in Stanford-Le-Hope, therefore a full UK Driver's License is required. Simultaneously, you will be working to achieve a Level 3 IT Support Technician qualification through an approved apprenticeship provider, Baltic Apprenticeships. As an IT Apprentice, you would study the following courses:
- Supporting IT Architecture
- Working with end-user devices
- Working with Network Architecture
We will offer you: - Time during working hours to focus on your apprenticeship studies, including the opportunity to work from home - when appropriate. (The role requires that staff member will be predominately onsite).

Entry Level requirements: 5 GCSE's 4-9 or equivalent, including Maths and English (if D in Maths or English achieved then Functional Skills course can be taken alongside apprenticeship to upskill).
