Wishes to appoint a
Cleaner
Salary: Thurrock Living Wage
(£5,426.83 per annum)
3.30pm - 5.30pm (Monday-Friday)
10 hours per week
Term time plus 3 additional weeks
Start Date: 15th April 2024
A new opportunity has arisen to appoint a Cleaner for Arthur Bugler Primary School, a popular oversubscribed Community School. Arthur Bugler Primary School are looking for an reliable and enthusiastic cleaner, who can work at the school from 3.30pm to 5.30pm to support the cleaning of the school. School cleaners are responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the school. The role includes:
Cleaning certain parts of the school site
Vacuuming carpeted areas and washing floors
Sweeping uncarpeted areas
Emptying and cleaning bins
Spot cleaning of spillages
Cleaning desks, seats and skirting boards
Cleaning toilet areas and replenishing toiletries
Cleaning doors and windows
Checking stock levels of cleaning materials
Reporting all defects/hazards immediately to the caretaker or supervisor
