Kents Hill Infant Academy are seeking a Cleaner to join our friendly Site Team. Working alongside the Site Manager you will be responsible for cleaning any areas of the school to a high standard as directed. The successful candidate will need to be a self-motivated and enthusiastic person who enjoys using their own initiative. Previous cleaning experience and knowledge of Health and Safety would be desired but is not essential.
The successful candidate will be required to work 13 hours and 45 minutes per week, Monday to Friday 3.00 pm to 5.45 pm.
We would be delighted to hear from you if you have:
· The knowledge of how to use cleaning tools, products, machinery and equipment to support the cleaning of all areas of the school.
· The ability to be on time and able to work to deadlines to clean areas within the time given.
· Commitment to improving our learning environment by maintaining high standards of cleaning.
· Attention to detail
· The ability to overcome communication barriers and build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
· Effective organisational and interpersonal skills,enabling you to manage tasks efficiently and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
· The ability to work independently and take initiative,taking pride in your work and consistently seeking opportunities to contribute to the team's success.
· The ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain composure in challenging situations.
