Job Title: Trust Finance Lead - South Essex Academy Trust
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week,term time plus 3 additional weeks per year
Scale: 7
Point: 19-24 (Depending on experience)
Actual Salary: £26,784.40 to £29,705.07 per annum
Start Date: ASAP

South Essex Academy Trust are looking to appoint an organised, highly motivated, and enthusiastic Trust Finance Lead to manage the schools' finance functions. The successful candidate will be appropriately qualified, highly organised and an excellent communicator and manager. This position will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.
As the Trust Finance Lead you will provide financial support to the Trust to facilitate the efficient running of the schools' budgets and maintain its educational aims. The contracted working hours are 37 per week, working term time plus 3 additional week per year. The role has the opportunity of flexible working which can be agreed once appointed. This will include home working with some days in our Finance Team office which is based at Westwood Academy.
The successful candidate should have:
· Experience of financial transactions, including banking, management accounts review and reconciliation and debtor management and reporting.
· Experience of managing the administration and development of the financial systems
· Ability to think strategically and to articulate how they will further the school's vision.
· Familiarity with business priorities in the education sector
· Ability to analyse and interpret data, presenting it in accessible form to various audiences to inform decision making
· Experience of PS Financials Accounting Software.
· Sound judgement, excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
· Ability to successfully line manage colleagues to ensure high quality provision
