Job Description

Crays Hill Primary School has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join the team as soon as possible.

The position is for 35 hours per week, 8:15am-3:45pm Monday to Friday, including a 30 minute break. (Term time only, 39 weeks per year including 5x Inset days).

Salary Scale 3-4, Point Range 5-8 depending on qualifications and experience. Actual Salary £19,616 to £20,260 (including paid annual leave which must be taken during school closure periods).

We are seeking to appoint a flexible, resilient, hardworking Learning Support Assistant to work supporting pupils 1:1 and in groups.

· good knowledge of how to positively support and enable children to thrive, especially those with challenging behaviour and SEMH needs.

· a high level of emotional intelligence and excellent communication/interaction skills

· energy, enthusiasm and a flexible approach with the ability to look upon demands as an opportunity to be positive and inspirational

· a belief in inclusion, diversity and access the right of each pupil to maximise their potential whatever their needs and abilities
