We are looking to appoint an experienced and well-qualified person to the role of Headteacher's PA/Clerk to Governors. The role is varied and the postholder will need to exercise considerable initiative in performing their duties, often under pressure, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines as necessary. They will have excellent administrative, IT and organisation skills and be confident communicators. Direct supervision of the role is minimal so organisation of their own workload and priorities on a day-to-day basis using their initiative and knowledge of the work required is essential. The Headteacher's PA/Clerk to Governors needs to be able to have some flexibility with their working hours and to work some evenings. This is a full-time role, but when the need arises to work beyond 37 hours in a week, any additional hours will be accrued for time off in lieu during school closure periods.
