Early Years Key Worker - January 2024
Hours of work: 19 hours per week, 39 working weeks per year
Salary Banding: Band 2
Actual Salary: £23,426 - £24,189 full time equivalent including fringe allowance (pro-rata). Salary negotiable depending on skills and experience.

Hilltop Infant School are looking to recruit an Early Years Key Worker to join us in January 2024.
The successful candidate will be experienced and enjoy working closely with the class teacher, supporting the needs of early years children in a school setting.
The successful applicant will:
- Provide a stimulating and safe environment for children in which they can develop to their full potential
- Supervise children in various activities
- Establish positive relationships with children and their parent/carer
- Promote an inclusive and acceptance for all children, including those with special needs
- Monitor and record children's activities, progress and development
- Record detailed observations
- Assist children with snack time, including the preparation of food, assisting with eating and clearing up
Qualifications and experience:
- Educated to level 3 in Childcare
- Achieved grade C and above in maths and English
- Child protection and safeguarding legislation and procedures
- Basic First Aid
- Knowledge of child development
