(£31,350.00- £47,839.00 per annum)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint an inspirational Teacher in Food and technology to join our successful Technology Department. We are seeking to appoint a talented, enthusiastic, ambitious and driven Teacher of Food Technology to join our school to deliver lessons at St Clere's Secondary School.

This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with great teaching skills to join the team, as Food Technology is taught as part of our Design and Technology curriculum in mixed attainment groups in KS3 and KS4. The department offers other specialisms including Food Technology. As a Teacher of Food Technology, you will be responsible for securing the best possible outcomes for our students. We expect all of our students to be challenged, to be inspired and to believe in their abilities. You will have the energy, enthusiasm and flexibility to enable students to achieve the highest possible standards.

The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge and join a highly motivated team of superbly collaborative teachers committed to a creative and stimulating approach to teaching and learning, and to in still passion in our students.

St Clere’s School is a secondary school and Co-operative Academy with an ethos that promotes excellence for all. We work in partnership with a family of schools including East Tilbury Primary School, Stanford-le-Hope Primary School, Thameside Primary School, Arthur Bugler Primary School and Brentwood County High School. Our reputation is one of very high academic standards and outstanding pupil conduct. St Clere’s School has gone from strength to strength and the past few years, St. Clere's School pupils have achieved significantly above national results. The Maths department have continued their trend of results, high in the 80s where one third of pupils left with a top grade of 7 to 9. The English department has also mirrored that success with results high in the 80s and significantly above national. Additionally, our progress score continues to be a solid positive and our Ebacc results are above national. Both ICT and separate sciences (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) were 100% A* to C. These results are significantly above national figures and some of the best results in the history of our school, demonstrating: high quality teaching and learning; continuous dedication of staff and the engagement for learning of our pupils.
