Teaching Assistant

We are a small primary school in the heart of the village of Newport, Essex. We are looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, skilled and motivated teaching assistant.
Applications are invited from Teaching Assistants who:
· Wish to make a difference to children's learning
· Are able to assist children on an individual basis but also work as a member of the team
· Have excellent communication skills, with children, colleagues and parents
· Can demonstrate good organisational skills
· Can support inclusion in the classroom, ensuring all pupils feel involved with all tasks and activities
· Under the direction of the teacher, support the school curriculum, including English and maths
You will need to be:
· Positive and enthusiastic
· Calm and flexible in your approach to the role
· Reliable, resilient and able to take initiative
Further details of the post:
1 Year Fixed term contract.
Monday to Friday: 8.45 to 3.15pm
This is term time only plus training days.
