Midday Assistant
Salary: Band A Point 1 - 6
(£3,986.02 - £4,349.27 per annum depending on experience)
8 hours 20 minutes per week
11:50am - 1:30pm Monday to Friday
37 weeks of the year - term time only
Start Date: January 2024

A new opportunity has arisen, for a dedicated and enthusiastic Midday Assistant to join our successful team supporting students at lunchtime.. Little Thurrock Primary School are looking for an aspirational Midday Assistant to work as part of a team at Little Thurrock Primary School, which is a member of Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust. MDA's create a very positive, happy and secure environment in our playgrounds, dining hall and the school building at lunchtime.
The successful applicant will:-
· Applicants must hold GCSE Grade 4 or above in both English and Maths
· Interact with the children to encourage good social skills and will lead outdoor activities to encourage participation
· Encourage healthy eating, preparing the tables, supervise playing with the children outside, supervising the clearing up of games and toys, administering first aid and using the school's behaviour plan
· Ensure the safety and care of pupils who are injured or unwell & provide comfort if distressed
· Assist children with Personal Care where necessary
· Be willing to undertake training, including First Aid
