EYFS Teaching Assistants required to start in January 2024 or as soon as possible.
Two fixed term posts available, scale 3, points 5-6 depending on experience, initially for one year with the scope to extend.
Monday- Friday 8:45-3:15 (lunch break 12noon-1:10pm)
We are looking to appoint two friendly, enthusiastic and creative Teaching Assistants to join our Early Years team to support children with a range of additional needs. Your day will be varied, sometimes based in the EYFS classrooms and sometimes in our nurture group setting, where you will support children to communicate effectively and to build their social and emotional skills.
The successful candidates will:
Have a calm, positive and friendly manner
- Be committed to supporting children with additional needs to make good progress and achieve well
- Be able to work independently and use initiative in different situations
- Be proactive and willing to learn and apply new skills
- Build good relationships and work as part of our strong staff team
- Be educated to GCSE grade A-C or Level 2 equivalent in Maths and English
