A friendly village playschool set within the heart of Great Baddow
Term time only
8.45 - 12.30 Monday - Friday
In addition 2- 4 afternoons until 4pm (depending on numbers)
Flexibility is essential
Personal requirements:
· Level 3 in Early Years minimum
· Relevant first aid certificate desirable but can be obtained
· Enhanced DBS
· Minimum two years relevant early years experience
· In-depth knowledge of the EYFS, statutory framework and current legislation
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Positive and friendly outlook
GCSE maths & English pass
The Position
To assist and support the supervisor in leading a group of preschool age children.
To help with the planning and ideas to enhance and motivate children's learning through a wide range of activities and equipment
Key Areas
Flexibility to work in either group with children from 2-4 years
To encourage children's learning through play
To promote teamwork and unity with all staff across the setting
To assist with activities that will help children to move towards their developmental milestones
To be able to cover the Supervisors responsibilities when sickness/ leave provides the need
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: min 18.75 - 30.00 max p/w
Salary: £11.76 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday - Term time only
Education:
GCSE or equivalent (required)
Experience:
Early childhood education: 2 years (required)

Established in 1968, our playschool is within the church centre, next to St Mary's Church, Great Baddow. Our historic building, which was previously Great Baddow's traditional village school includes four classrooms, an indoor playroom, a sensory room, office, kitchen and hall as well as a fully enclosed wide-reaching playground.
Our aim is to provide the best possible quality care and education in a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment.
Our opening times are: Morning sessions - Monday - Friday 9.00 - 12.00 Lunch Club - Monday - Thursday 12.00 - 1.00 Afternoons - Monday - Thursday 1.00 - 3.30
