We are looking to recruit a Midday Assistant to join our team. Midday Assistants create a very positive, happy and secure environment in our dining hall and the school building at lunchtimes.
12 midday to 1.30 pm Monday to Friday = 7.5 hours a week - Term-time only
Your primary role will be to maintain the safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils during the lunchtime break. Duties include supervising and interacting with the children in the dining hall, encourage healthy eating and good table manners, basic first aid.

Ideally you will be able to offer us:
Previous experience of working with or caring for children
Hold a current First Aid Certificate or be willing to be trained
The ability to work effectively with other adults in the school
Be calm, caring and enthusiastic
To support the pupils with the clearing process in the dining hall
To alert Catering Manager of any concerns regarding pupils
To attend regular training and meetings as required
To respect confidentiality at all times
To understand and apply school policies in relation to health and safety, welfare and behaviour of the pupils
All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
