Pear Tree Mead Academy are seeking to appoint a SEND LSA to work with children who have a wide range of complex needs, which include social communication and emotional needs. (contract may be linked to a child's funding) 25 hours per week, Term time only. Scale 3 depending on experience.
Desirable knowledge, attitudes and experience:
Experience in supporting emotional literacy and regulation
Being able to support communication difficulties / barriers.
Training in Trauma Perceptive Practice and Attachment Awareness
An awareness of supporting learning and communication through play.
A compassionate and calm approach
Good communication and team work skills
