We have an exciting opportunity for an excellent teacher to join our highly committed, supportive and experienced Modern Languages Faculty to teach Spanish for a fixed term. This post is suitable for experienced practitioners or newly qualified professionals. The successful candidate will be expected to teach across the age and ability range up to KS4. Staff morale is high at our school; we have an excellent induction programme and a commitment to professional development for all staff. All teaching staff are provided with a laptop.
Our Modern Languages Faculty is well resourced and you will have access to a range of exciting activities and trips, for example our long standing exchange programme to a grammar school in Bavaria and study trip to Seville. The successful candidate will want to bring their passion and enthusiasm for languages to encourage, motivate and engage our students and continue to raise standards in this high performing faculty.
Our oversubscribed school once again achieved a 'GOOD' rating in its Ofsted inspection in June 2022 and we have a commitment to supporting students in developing as well-rounded individuals as well as achieving their academic potential.

Great Baddow High School is a happy and successful 11-18 school benefitting from a large site and excellent specialist accommodation.

Great Baddow High School Specialises in Science and Sport and is a centre of excellence.
We deliver a high quality education in science that challenges and stimulates students. The sciences are popular A Level subjects with many students choosing science-based courses at university. We promote many vocational and enrichment opportunities, including STEM projects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) to enrich learning experiences.
Specialising in sports since 2004, our sports facilities, teaching expertise and extra-curricular provision are outstanding. Our students enjoy sporting success at district and national level and benefit from an exceptional extra-curricular programme although our ethos is centred on participation for all.
