We are seeking to appoint an organised and well-motivated technician for 37 hpw term time
only (38 weeks per year). The hours are 08:00 to 16:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 to
15:30 on Friday with 30 minutes for lunch.
The primary focus of the post is to support teaching and learning in the Design and
Technology Department to ensure the smooth running of practical activities and create a
safe and productive environment for students to explore and learn. Duties will include:
maintaining workshop tools and machinery, organising the workshop spaces to ensure
easy access to tools, equipment and materials and providing practical assistance to both
teachers and students during practical activities and projects, please see the job description

The appointment is subject to satisfactory references, DBS check and Occupational
