Canonium Learning Trust is a growing primary Multi-Academy Trust, with four primary schools in Essex. It is our purpose to give every child the very best education possible by enabling each child to fulfil their potential and nurture an enthusiasm for learning. Supporting our vision and purpose is our dedicated team of business and school support staff, who provide essential operational support to our school teams.
Our new Trust Finance and Business Assistant will undertake a wide variety of administration tasks to support the Trust's centralised support services.
For the right candidate we can be flexible with the working hours of this new post so can offer the role on a part time and term-time working basis, which may be beneficial to someone who would prefer to work around normal school operating hours.
We are also in a position to be able to support an apprentice, which would involve working towards an AAT accountancy qualification. In this case, the successful candidate would work full time hours with apprenticeship pay and conditions https://www.gov.uk/become-apprentice/pay-and-conditions
Hours
The candidate has the option to 15-16 hours per week:
Option 1 - 4 hours over 4 days (0.43 FTE over the week)
Option 2 - 5 hours over 3 days (0.41 FTE over the week)
The position is also working term time only for 38 weeks per year (43.6 weeks paid including leave entitlement) This is equivalent to 0.85 FTE over the year.
