Great people make great schools. Help us find them.

We're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Recruitment Manager to lead recruitment across South East Essex Academy Trust, helping our schools attract and appoint the talented people who make a difference to children and young people's lives every day.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of recruitment across a group of schools, combining hands-on recruitment delivery with the freedom to develop fresh ideas, improve processes and shape how we attract future talent.

And with a working pattern of 30 hours per week, term time plus three weeks, it offers a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a rewarding career alongside a better work-life balance.

One thing we can promise: no two days will be the same!

Working closely with the Director of People and Operations and school leaders, you'll be at the heart of recruitment across SEEAT, managing everything from creative advertising campaigns and candidate attraction to interviews, appointments and onboarding.

You'll also lead and support our HR Administrator, ensuring candidates and hiring managers receive a professional, efficient and welcoming recruitment experience.

This role is about more than filling vacancies. We want someone who can think ahead, spot opportunities and help us build a recruitment approach that attracts exceptional people to our schools.

We're looking for someone who combines strong recruitment expertise with a practical, positive and solutions-focused approach. You'll bring experience of managing recruitment campaigns from start to finish, confidence in working with senior leaders and the organisational skills to juggle multiple priorities without losing sight of the detail.

You'll be comfortable using recruitment technology, confident supporting others and passionate about delivering an excellent service. Most importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys taking initiative, building relationships and making a genuine difference.

Experience in education would be an advantage, but it's not essential. We'd love to hear from talented recruitment professionals from other sectors who can bring fresh perspectives, creativity and ideas to our family of schools. If you're an experienced recruiter who thrives on variety, enjoys working with people and wants a role where your contribution really matters, we'd love to hear from you.

You don't need to tick every box to apply. If you have relevant experience, sound judgement and the enthusiasm to help our schools succeed, we encourage you to get in touch.

Information about the School

South East Essex Academy Trust (SEEAT) is a Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) with eight schools.

SEEAT was inaugurated on 1st April 2014. It was made up from Westcliff High School for Girls, Prince Avenue Academy, Nursery and Children’s Centre (sponsored by WHSG) and Rochford Primary School and Nursery. The Trust enlarged on 1st September 2014 with WHSG sponsoring the academisation of Holt Farm Junior School. In September 2021 The Deanes, Hadleigh Junior School and The Westborough School joined us followed by Heycroft Primary School in January 2024. The latest addition to the SEEAT family is Cornelius Vermuyden School, who officially joined SEEAT in June 2026 - although we have been working closely with the school since April 2024.

From September 2026 we have been working in partnership with Holt Farm School.

We are a friendly, collaborative family of schools and we believe that all the schools in the family have become significantly stronger since working together as part of SEEAT.

We are looking to grow in a measured way over the next few years. If you are interested in joining us, we would be happy to talk to school leaders and governors about your options and to share how we believe SEEAT could make a positive difference to the pupils, staff, and families in your school.

Please contact HR at hr@seeat.org for recruitment queries or info@seeat.org for other queries.

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
