We are seeking to appoint an HLTA on a permanent contract. The minimum HLTA contractual hours
of this appointment are for three afternoons a week but we would be open to increasing these
contractual hours to include either more HLTA afternoon hours or teaching assistant hours (at a
teaching assistant rate of Scale 3 point 6-7) for the right candidate.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated and thriving team as a Higher Level Teaching
Assistant. We are seeking a versatile, highly motivated and pro-active individual who is looking to
work within a supportive, collaborative and forward-thinking school environment.

The successful candidate will be someone who can demonstrate flexibility, initiative and have a
genuine passion for supporting the educational and developmental needs of our pupils. This role
requires an individual who is not only willing to integrate seamlessly into our existing structure but
also eager to bring their own skills and enthusiasm to enhance our provision. If you thrive in a team-
based setting and are committed to making a difference in a child's learning journey, we encourage
you to apply.

The successful candidate will lead KS1 and KS2 classes to cover PPA sessions during afternoons and
also provide scheduled, and short notice, cover for teacher absence. Additionally, the role may
include some targeted intervention work or classroom teaching assistant work, depending on the
negotiated hours.

If you are interested in this role but do not have a HLTA qualification, then we may be able to
support and enable you to undertake this qualification.

Visits to the school are encouraged. Please contact the school office if you would like to arrange this.
We reserve the right to interview and appoint prior to the closing date for applications.
