We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Midday Assistant to join our lunchtime and play team to support, inspire and engage children at Gosbecks Primary School to 'be the best you can be.'
This is a fixed term position until 21st July 2027 (this may continue). The hours are Monday to Friday 11.00am - 2.00 pm - term time only.
Pay scale is Scale 2, Point 4-5, Actual salary £8799 - £8938 pa.
Duties may include:
Supervising children with additional who need extra support around transitions, eating and playing.
Supervising children in the lunch hall, Rainbow provision, lunch club and classrooms as needed.
Supervising our OPAL play zones encouraging all types of play https://outdoorplayandlearning.org.uk/
Preparing the dinner hall for lunch and clearing away afterwards when needed.
Encouraging healthy eating.
Administering first aid.
Respecting the need for confidentiality.
Providing support for individual children with additional needs in class, in the hour before and after lunch.
