Vacancy - Infants Midday Supervisor
Scale 4 Point 8-9 (approx. £14.75 per hour)
Monday to Friday 5 days per week 12 - 1.25pm
We are seeking an exceptional, highly organised individual with excellent behaviour management skills to lead the Midday team.
Leading the midday team, to take care and control of all the children on the school premises during the midday break between the morning and afternoon teaching sessions, to ensure that lunchtimes are running smoothly including the playground.
§ Advise on and implement appropriate administrative systems/procedures in regard to lunchtimes
§ To oversee the lunchtime staff and procedures on a regular basis
§ To work with the School Business Manager to ensure sufficient staffing is in place
§ To act as first point of contact for the catering and midday teams
§ To work alongside the catering team to facilitate improvements / implement new procedures when necessary
§ To attend regular Midday meetings with Midday staff and the Headteacher
§ To liaise with parents regarding pupil dietary requirements
§ To maintain rotas, such as for the First Aid Station
§ To ensure any concerns raised by midday staff regarding an individual child or group of children are routed to the relevant Class Teacher/Headteacher
§ To oversee the induction of new MDAs
§ To ensure that confidential information relating to pupils and the school is respected by the midday team.
You will need to be understanding, patient and calm, whilst needing to be flexible, work well as part of a team and also able to act on your own initiative.
