Head of Provision - Autism Resource Provision (KS1 & KS2)

MPS/UPS + TLR2C

Full Time | Permanent

Start Date: April 2027

We are seeking an experienced and passionate teacher to lead our new Autism Resource Provision within The Moulsham Schools.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape and develop a specialist provision from its inception, supporting autistic children to thrive academically, socially and emotionally within an inclusive mainstream setting.

Working closely with the CEO, school leaders, families and external professionals, you will lead the day-to-day operation of the provision, ensuring that pupils receive high-quality support and achieve the very best outcomes.

We are looking for someone who:

· Has significant experience working with autistic children in an educational setting.

· Has a strong understanding of autism and evidence-informed approaches to supporting pupils with autism.

· Can lead and develop a team effectively.

· Has experience of person-centred planning and supporting pupils with SEND.

· Is committed to inclusion and ensuring every child feels valued, supported and successful.

· Builds strong relationships with pupils, families and professionals.

· Holds the SENDCo qualification or is willing to undertake it within their first two years in post.
