About the role:
Moulsham High School is a larger than average 11-18 comprehensive school where all students consistently achieve highly.Overall progress and attainment have been well above Essex and national averages for the last 10 years, consistently placing us in at least the top 16% of all schools nationally.

We are looking for a Foreign Language Assistant (French) to support the Modern Foreign Languages faculty in the months leading up to 2027's A Level examinations by working exclusively with Sixth Form students (Years 12 and 13). The primary focus is to build student confidence, fluency, and spontaneous language skills, specifically preparing them for the AQA A Level French Paper 3 (Speaking) examination.
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level (or currently studying at degree level). They will have a native or near-native fluency in French.
Excellent command of standard French grammar and vocabulary is essential as well as an ability to bring contemporary Francophone culture, current affairs, and authentic insights to life.
