We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and proactive Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our dedicated SEND team. This role involves working closely with children who have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) to support their access to a mainstream school setting.

You will play a key role in helping to deliver the individualised provision outlined in the children's EHCP, supporting their social, emotional, and academic development within a nurturing and inclusive environment.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be working under the direction of the SENDCo providing 1:1 support. Your role will involve working alongside our wider teaching team to create a nurturing and structured environment.

We are looking for an individual who is eager to learn, implement innovative strategies and demonstrate patience and empathy in their practice. Experience in supporting vulnerable pupils particularly those SEMH needs would be advantageous. Having previously undertaken ELSA training or an interest in undertaking this in the future would also be beneficial.

This role would be well suited to an individual with a calm, nurturing approach. Experience of delivering or supporting cooking or drama sessions to children would also be highly regarded.

If you are passionate about making a difference, dedicated to ensuring every child achieves their potential, and inspired to be part of something special, we would be delighted to receive your application.

Working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 12.30pm.

Actual salary starts at £12,840 per annum. This role is to start on 2nd November 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

This role is initially offered on a fixed-term contract on a part-time basis. Initially the end date for this role will be offered as 31st August 2028. There is scope that working hours could increase in the future.
