Holland Haven Primary School is looking to recruit a compassionate, resilient, and dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA/MDA) to join our inclusive team. In this role, you will provide tailored support to pupils who require a nurture-based approach to their learning and emotional development.
A key focus of this position is utilizing Trauma andAttachment Aware Practices (TPP) to create a safe, predictable, and supportive environment where every child can thrive.
The successful candidate will be working closely with class teachers and the SENCo to implement individual education and behaviour plans. The position includes a midday assistant role (paid at LSA rate), until end of term July 2027 - with the possibility of future employment.
About you:
· Experienced in TPP: Prior training or practical experience in Trauma Perceived Practice, Trauma-Informed Practice, or Positive Behaviour Support.
· Strong communicator: Ability to build quick, trusting, and non-judgmental relationships with pupils, families, and staff.
· Qualified: Holding a relevant NVQ Level 2/3 or possessing significant verifiable experience in a similar educational setting.
